There's a fun fact:the earliest beret dates back to the Bronze Age. Yep, long before the iconic head topper became a jaunty fashion statement – most commonly associated with moustachioed, baguette-wielding Frenchmen – it was simply a woolly disk that kept farmers’ heads warm.
